Natasha Kmeto Live Session/Q & A on Sessions From The Box

Those that have seen/heard Portland's Natasha Kmeto live in the last few months knows that she's got the goods: an amazing, soul-drenched voice; well-constructed, industrial-strength productions that blend hip-hop, techno, and future funk sounds; and an infectious stage presence. She's clearly going places, as evidenced by her Show And Tell appearance a few months back.

Check out her "Sessions From The Box" podcast (part live set, part q & a session) HERE

SHOW & TELL w/The Googly & Waste Management (aka William Mempa) - Wed March 23rd, hosted by Verse

Show And Tell, the biweekly at the Living Room solely dedicated to live electronic music producers making music here in the Northwest, is closing out its first year with two of our biggest supporters and hard-working producers around: The Googly & Waste Management (aka William Mempa)

...The Googly is the music project of Bremerton producer and DJ Adrian Rowe. Originally from Virginia where a dearth of cultural pursuits encouraged him to create his own, The Googly had to figure things out for himself, which helped to him develop his unique original sound. Now residing just outside of Seattle, The Googly spends his time melding rich waves of distortion with soaring melody to create a unique an driving sound. With a keen eye toward forward thinking production, elements of glitch, IDM, and shoegaze feed into 4/4 beats that drive the dancefloor

Drawing influence from musical artists like David Lynch, Nosaj Thing, Apparat, Squarepusher, Fleetwood Mac, Carl Craig, Plaid, Nathan Fake, and Robag Whume, The Googly collaborates with many local producers and has become a key musical figure in his local music scene. Versatile and open-minded to new styles and sounds, The Googly’s constantly evolving live shows and diverse dj sets continue to keep listeners on their toes wondering what could happen next.

Let’s face it – we all know & love Billy. He’s everywhere. He cannot be denied. Between his sublime monthly Monster Planet residency at the Can Can (w/Gel-Sol) and work with ambient juggernauts Kids For Tomorrow, and his unwavering love & support of a myriad of crews around Seattle, William Mempa has made his mark. But did you know that he’ll be making his solo live debut at Show And Tell?! Join us as Billy makes history. Again.

Hosted by Show And Tell resident Verse

SHOW AND TELL w/Erictronic, Haruki Tamesue, visuals by Looptid - Wed March 9 @ Living Room

SHOW AND TELL w/Erictronic, Haruki Tamesue, visuals by Looptid
Hosted by Naturebot
Wednesday, March 9
The Living Room
1355 E. Olive

Oh my! Show and Tell, Seattle's only party for original electronic music producers, is bringing in some splatterbrained mayhem this time around. We rented a tugboat because this one is gonna be HEAVY!

Erictronic has a huge imagination that allows him to pull off bizarre musical feats others have only dreamed of. One of the men behind Seattle's Bonkers! parties and a stunning producer, Erictronic puts the weird back in weird music.

Haruki is a half-breed with one round eye, one slant eye, and a shiner on his third eye. He likes to make music, but gets bored easily and starts a new song immediately. Haruki will profess an interest in starting a band with you, and then flake out to work on his own stuff. He wishes music was still as beautiful as he remembers it being, but that was probably just the drugs.

Also featuring the visuals of LOOPTID, a visual madman who you may know from his stint as Bonkers' resident visual artist or the many huge parties he's helped make wild as of recent!

Hosted by Naturebot

Yep, this promises to be a batshit out-of-this-world nuttier-that-a-peanut-buster-parfait edition of Show 'n' Tell. Hope to see you out and about!

9PM start
The Living Room (at Olive and Melrose on the lower end of Capitol Hill, Seattle)
